Steps to make Vada ladoo:
- Take split chickpeas in a bowl,soak it for 2 hours in warm water.now throw the water & grind it into thick batter..
- Now deep/shallow fry small fritters just for few minutes,till slightly golden colour(pic2)fry all fritters and cool them.
- Now make sugar syrup,take a big vessel add in sugar and water.when it start boiling,add in colour, cardamom powder and saffron strings.boil till you get 1 string.(pic3).
- Now coarsely grind all the fritters,now add in the sugar syrup and mix well.now off the flame and cover it and let it soak all the syrup..
- Now slightly fry the cashews and melon seed in ghee.now add the cashews and melon seeds into the LADDU mixture,now make small LADDU.
- Decorate with silver leaf (optional) and nuts..
Add the ghee to the same pan. Dahi vada is chaat from India. Dahi vada prepared by overnight soaked lentil (urad dal) ground in to the batter. Fried dahi vada are soaked, squeezed and dipped in sweetened yogurt.. This ladoo recipe is quick an easy and less time consuming.
