Dal paratha recipe – simple and easy paratha made with whole wheat flour (atta) and cooked dal. They go good for breakfast or lunch and even in the lunch box. They can be served with any pickle or a simple curry.

To begin with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can have dal parantha using 6 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Dal Parantha:

  1. {Get 200 gms of wheat floor.
  2. {Take 1 cup of Water.
  3. {Prepare 1 cup of Cooked dal.
  4. {Prepare As per taste of Salt.
  5. {Prepare As required of Onion.
  6. {Get As required of Oil.

Perfect to cook at home, on any day when you feel like having comfort food ! Homely to the core, this yellow moong dal paratha is satiating, wholesome and very soothingly flavoured with simple spice powders. Leftover dal paratha is the QUICK breakfast or brunch recipe that is served with plain yogurt or raita or pickle. As the name says it is made using any leftover dal you have in the fridge.

Steps to make Dal Parantha:

  1. Take 200 gm wheat floor. Add 1/2 spoon salt, red chilli, mango powder, 1 chopped onion cooked dal. Mix well..
  2. Take some water if required, knead it nicely and apply 1 spoon oil on dough..
  3. Cover dough for 5 mins then take a medium size ball of dough and apply wheat floor and make a round Parantha..
  4. Apply oil a little then roll it again and again make round paratha..
  5. Now heat tawa on medium flame and cook by apllying oil both sides..
  6. Cook well on medium flame for 2 min approx. You can serve with fresh cream, yoghurt or desi ghee as per taste..

Bhugi Dal Paratha Recipe (Dal Jo Phulko) or Moong Dal Paratha, is a healthy paratha that is stuffed with protein rich yellow moong dal, with mild spices. Dal is cooked and drained, so that the dal can be used as a stuffing for the paratha.
