A mango lassi is basically a yogurt based mango milkshake or smoothie. You can use either canned mango pulp or cubed fresh or frozen mango. If you use fresh, you'll want to use a ripe, sweet mango.

To get started with this recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can have mango lassi using 8 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Mango Lassi:

  1. {Prepare 1 of medium size mango.
  2. {Make ready 400 gm of fresh curd.
  3. {Make ready 1 tbsp of sugar/honey.
  4. {Get 1/4 tsp of cardomom powder.
  5. {Get 2 tbsp of fresh cream optional.
  6. {Get of for Garnishing.
  7. {Take as needed of Dry fruits.
  8. {Make ready 4-5 of saffron threads.

Directions Peel and dice the mango and puree in the blender. Add the rest of the ingredients and puree until the ice is crushed and the drink is frothy. Serve in tall glasses with additional ice,. In a blender, combine mangos, yogurt, sugar and ice.

Steps to make Mango Lassi:

  1. Collect all the ingredients.
  2. Wash peel and chop mango.
  3. In a mixture jar firstly grind mangoes and sugar if you are using it quantity of sugar depends upon the taste of mango along with your taste of mango is sweet add 1 tbsp if sore can add more sugar.
  4. Now add curd and blend with mango mixture after one blend add cream cardomom powder I am not adding ice in it because consistency of lassi become thin I want thicker one so give a nice churn to it take out and let it cool in the deep fridge for 15/20 minutes or in the refrigerator for 30/40 minutes.
  5. You can add curd malai dry fruits saffron sting mango chunks into it while serving it I have not added any of these as I love smooth lassi no bites 😊.
