It is basically a savory slider of fried mashed potato fritters stuffed in a dinner roll. It easy to make and serve. Vada Pao, Wada Pav, or Wada Pao is a budget-friendly and gratifying Indian Style Burger which hails from the streets of Mumbai. Steps to make Vada Pav:

  1. In a bowl mix all ingredients of batter..
  2. Make smooth batter..
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Put rai the add ginger chill..
  4. Add boiled and mashed potatoes..
  5. Add salt and haldi. Mix well and cook for 2 mins..
  6. Add coriander leaves..
  7. Now let it cool for 5 mins..
  8. Grease your hands and make lemon size balls..
  9. Now dip and coat in besan batter and fry it in medium hot oil..
  10. Fry till golden brown..
  11. According fry all vadas..
  12. Now take pav cut and put garlic chutney and vada..
  13. Serve with fried green chill and chutney..
  14. Serve hot..

This is the only vada pav you'll ever need to make your best vada pav at home. Vada = deep fried potato patties and pav = burger buns. You can say it's kind of a potato sandwich or burger but what makes it so special is all the chutneys that go with it! We went to Mumbai that year to celebrate new year.
