  8. {Make ready 2 of Juice of lemons or 1 teaspoon amchur powder.

  10. {Take 5-6 of boiled potatoes.
  11. {Prepare 1/2 cup of desi chana.
  12. {Get Pinch of sodabicarb.
  13. {Take to taste of Salt.
  14. {Prepare 1 teaspoon of chaat masala.
  15. {Prepare 2-3 tablespoons of chopped coriander leaves.
  16. {Take 5-6 of green chillies.
  17. {Take 1/4 cup of pudina leaves.
  18. {Prepare 1 teaspoon of amchur powder.
  19. {Get Other of ingredients:-.
  20. {Make ready as required of Puris (readymade or homemade).
  21. {Prepare as required of Date tamarind chutney.
  22. {Take as required of Spicy bundi.

Paani Puri Recipe is a popular street food of India that consists of crisp fried dough balls (puri) that are stuffed with potatoes, spicy tangy water, or sweet chutney. The spicy and tangy water served along with paani puri recipe can be prepared with numerous types. Potato, onion, chickpeas, coriander chutney stuffed crispy puri drenched in sour and spicy mint flavored water (pudina pani) easily fills one's mouth and takes taste buds on a journey of heaven and it is no wonder that it's a popular street snack along the length and breadth of India and known as gol gappa, puchka, pakodi, Pani Puri, etc. Preparing pudina vala pani and masala for panipuri at home is not only a healthier way of enjoying it but also allows you to customize it the way you like it.

Steps to make Pani Puri:

  1. For pudina pani, grind pudina leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies with lemon juice and required water and make paste. Add this paste into approximate 1-litre water. Then strain it and remove big particles. Add salt, black salt, chaat masala and mix well. Taste it and adjust masala. Pudina pani is ready..
  2. Soak desi chana in water for 6-8 hours in hot water. Then cook in a pressure cooker with salt and soda bicarb. Then strain it and remove water. Boil potatoes too in pressure cooker and remove skin and mash them. Make paste of coriander leaves, pudina leaves, green chillies and amchur powder.(without water)..
  3. In a mixing bowl take boiled and mashed potatoes. Add boiled chana, salt, prepared paste, chaat masala. Mix well..
  4. Make hole in between of puri. Stuff with aloo chana mixture. Pour pudina pani and enjoy. Pour date tamarind chutney too if you like..

Paani poori in Maharashtra, Golgappe in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab while Puchka in West Bengal and Gupchup in parts of Odisha. No points for guessing that Paani Puri is indeed the most loved street. The pani puri water is what binds all the components together and makes the filling-filled puris such a fun experience! I make my version of jaljeera with a host of spices and seasonings that boost the flavour of the pani. It is all about getting the balance right for a sweet, spicy, tangy, and sour pani.
