Lassi Lassi (pronounced ) is a popular traditional dahi ()-based drink that originated in the Indian Subcontinent. Lassi is a blend of yoghurt, water, spices and sometimes fruit. Namkeen (salty) lassi is similar to doogh, while sweet and mango lassis are like milkshakes.

Lassi is one of the most popular of recent trending meals on earth. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. It’s easy, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. They’re nice and they look wonderful. Lassi is something which I’ve loved my whole life.

Here is a basic recipe for Indian Lassi (yogurt drink). You can add more or less yogurt or water for a thicker or thinner beverage. Garnish with fresh mint if desired.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can cook lassi using 5 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Lassi:

  1. {Make ready 2 cup of chilled curd.
  2. {Get 8-10 of cardamon.
  3. {Get 1/2 cup of sugar.
  4. {Take 1 cup of chilled water.
  5. {Take strands of Few saffron.

Lassi may be infused with cannabis in the form of bhang. Chaas is a similar drink of a thinner consistency. Lassi is a simple yogurt-based beverage that's very popular in Indian cuisine. And by simple, I mean really simple.

Instructions to make Lassi:

  1. Crush the cardamon…..
  2. In a bowl add curd.. With wishker mix it until it's smooth.
  3. Add sugar as per your taste..add chilled water..churn it until sugar dissolve and it come forthy layer.
  4. Add cardamon powder, saffron strands..and ice cube mix it.. Serve in a glass.

It consists of just yogurt, water, and typically some spices and/or fruit. You can have either have some version of sweet lassi, or a salty lassi, spicy lassi, or a savory lassi. In fact, on the Indian subcontinent, lassi generally refers to any yogurt based drink and it's a lot like a smoothie or a shake, but thinner and much frothier. Mango lassi blends sweet mangos with. Lassi is a thick yogurt drink very popular in India and neighbouring countries.
