Onion Bajji is one of the most popular of recent trending foods in the world. It’s appreciated by millions daily. It’s easy, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. They’re nice and they look wonderful. Onion Bajji is something which I’ve loved my whole life.

To get started with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few components. You can have onion bajji using 9 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Onion Bajji:

  1. {Take 2 of Large Onion.
  2. {Take 1/2 cup of Gram flour.
  3. {Make ready 1/4 cup of Rice flour.
  4. {Prepare 1/4 tsp of Ajwain seeds.
  5. {Get 1/2 tsp of Chilli powder.
  6. {Get 1 pinch of baking soda.
  7. {Take of Salt as per your taste.
  8. {Take 1/2 cup of water.
  9. {Take 1 cup of oil.

Instructions to make Onion Bajji:

  1. Peel and slice the onions into rounds and keep aside..
  2. In a mixing bowl add the gram flour, rice flour, Ajwain, chilli powder, baking soda, salt, water and make a smooth batter..
  3. Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is smoking hot, reduce the flame, deep the onions into the batter and coat well with batter. Gently drop the onion into the oil..
  4. Fry on medium heat till golden and crisp on both sides. Continue the same and fry the remaining onions in batches..
  5. Drain them into absorbent paper and serve it as it is or with any chutney of your choice..
